WatchWatch
Quick little video I shot as we headed up to the Temple of Poseidon.  This is by no means my best videography.  Just merely the product of ten minutes of boredom killing some of my down time, that and maybe wanting to brag about this trip, maybe a little.

Counting My Blessings
It’s amazing to me how easily it is for us as people get caught up in our own individual worlds.  We get so wrapped up in them sometimes we fail to count our blessings or to care about others.  We often find nothing but flaws or problems in our lives and fail to see the problems in others. This month has been a whirlwind of happenings to me to say the very the least.  I have traveled to Cambridge,...

Changing Perspectives
I’ve never been a fan of stereotypes and I have always tried to avoid using them to judge people.  When I landed in England a couple of weeks ago it was weird to be greeted by people that immediately placed in a category of American.  After finding myself in this category of American it became my goal to figure out what it means to be American in a foreign country.  This is what I have gathered...

Day Sixteen: Athens
It still dumbfounds me that I still have another week in Athens and just last week I was in Berlin and then before that I was in London. Upon arriving in Athens we went to our hotel were we then immediately dropped off our stuff and went out and enjoyed an amazing meal of traditional Greek food.  The dishes ranged from Greek Salad, Totzeke, and well a bunch of other stuff I can’t spell or...

One More Day In Berlin; Athens Tomorrow
Berlin has been lots of great fun.  I loved it.  I don’t know if I’d want to live here but I’m definitely planning on coming back (now to get that well paying job). The people here have seemed so nice and genuine, minus a one waiter, but I think everywhere has to have that one jerk. The architecture here is beautiful.  The Jewish Museum being obvious top one though.  The Museum was very new a...

Day Eleven: Sachsenhausen
Today we visited the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Memorial and Museum; the experience was poignant to say the very least.             From the moment I walked through the gate into the camp the atmosphere surrounding me went completely silent.  Footsteps, the occasional dead leaf blowing across the ground and the cold wind across my face was the only things that I could...

Random European Thoughts
I’ve decided that I am going to take a foreign language when I get back to the states. The people here in Europe all know how to speak many different languages fluently. Yet in America we only learn English. Sure some of us may take Spanish or something in high-school but honestly how well did we learn the language? Probably little to none at best. If dropped in Mexico I could get my way...

Day Seven: London
Tomorrow we pack our bags and hit the road again and head to Germany.  I’m so excited to go somewhere new however I am left with a bittersweet feeling.  We got to experience four days here in London, we managed to hit all the major site seeing things: Ben Big, St. Paul’s, British History Museum, Stonehenge etc.  As much as I loved seeing all that and chilling with all my new friends...

Day Four: London
Arrived in London today and as awesome as London is our Hotel blows.  They don’t offer free Wi-Fi and I’m not paying five pounds (7 USD) for only a hour of Wi-Fi. Thus forcing me to have to post this in McDonalds…and I hate McDonalds…the smell of cheap deep-fried corporate greed. That being said I have to keep this post short and sweet.  I’ll find some free Wi-Fi...

Day Three: Cambridge (SEAHAWKS!!!)
Its been a long night here in Cambridge but before I head to bed I feel as if I have to post this.  One of the coolest happened this evening.  So here we all were inside this Sports Pub by our hotel trying to catch the Seahawks game, we manage to convince the staff to turn on the Seahawks game and lo and behold we start winning.  After the first touchdown we all cheer and then a couple of other...

Cambridge - Night One Questions
A couple of quick questions I need to have answered while I am here. I’ve noticed that Europeans drive mostly of VW’s, Mercedes, Volvo’s here (go figure European cars).  I’ve noticed a couple of Fords though.  Do Europeans find American brand cars luxury brands like we find Europeans brands to be? What is a stereotypical “American” accent to them? Do they...

Cambridge - Night One
I gotta say besides being jet-lagged to no end I’m loving it here in England. It’s been only one day and I can already tell I’m a huge fan of the pub scene.  Unlike bars/clubs in America where it is all about getting sloshed as quick as possible all it is just a cool place to chill out with your friends, grab some food and have a drink.  I’m a huge fan. Everything here...

In England
Finally made it here in England.  I’m not sure how the math time works but either way I think I’ve had like 4 hours of sleep in the past 32 hours or so. Umm yeah thats it for now.  The posts should be more fun once I get to really go out in and see things.

Europe in 14 hours.
As the title suggests in less then 14 hours I will be on my 16 hour flight (bleh) to Europe. My feelings at this point have become surreal.  I got accepted on this trip about a year ago and it was always a year away, six months away now it’s just mear hours away. Crazy how life sneaks up on you like that? One part of me is nervous about legitimately leaving the country for the first time...

Records Don't Matter
First off, congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks for clinching the NFC West Championship tonight.  That along with the Husky win on Thursday have made this sport week amazing. Now to the complaining. A lot of Seahawk “fans” were rooting for the Seahawks to lose so they could get a higher draft pick. Plus now that they have won many other people are saying the Seahawks should not be...

Happy New Year
I suppose since it is a new year I should write some post about how awesome it is to be 2011, which in all reality, I’m so happy it is.  In 2010 I went through some of the best and worst life experiences.  I’m not going to go through the details on Tumblr though; chances are if you know me you’ll know what I’m talking about.  I don’t want to use this blog to whine...
